Antonio sat looking out at the cars zipping by on Logan Blvd. Every now and then he'd twist his head and follow someone staring at their phone as they walked passed the nursing home. Tucked into a corner furthest from the crowd of smokers, there wasn't much to do but sit and stare. He beamed when I asked to take his photo and leaned forward in his wheelchair. It's likely this was the first time in a while that someone had spoken to him, let alone shaken his hand. For a brief moment, Antonio became a human being again.
