In April of 2022, I spent several months traveling across Central and Eastern Europe to document the personal stories of Ukrainian refugees fleeing the Russian invasion. Each person was interviewed at length for vignettes and photoessays.

This project was funded independently with the generous help of family, friends, supporters, colleagues, and strangers from all over the world.
